General Description: Volunteers who work with us in an administrative role are usually active Monday - Friday during daytime hours. They may serve as a receptionist, work on special projects, support our donor services or bookkeeping. Various shifts are availale

  • Friendly and approachable
  • Enjoys communicating with others
  • Possesses good judgment

Skills Needed:

  • Office Assistance: filing, organizing, etc.
  • Computer knowledge: typing skills
  • Knowledge of Google platform or ability to learn.
  • Ability to use the photocopier
  • Professional aptitude in answering the office telephone
  • Managing the office when staff may be out of the office
  • May occasionally work on special projects

Hours: 3-5 hours per week

Whether it's a support group, educational workshop, individual peer support, housing, or Clubhouse, our dynamic day program, you will find someone who understands so you don't have to face mental illness alone. Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers have been serving Johnson County and the Greater Kansas City Area for more than 20 years.
