Join us for Book Buddies at the Grand Prairie Main Library!
Do you have a passion for reading? Do you enjoy spending time with children and teaching them new things? This orientation is designed to prepare you to work one on one with a child in grades 1st-3rd grade. You'll help them become more confident in reading aloud, exploring different books, expressing themselves through drawing and writing, and being an overall positive role-model. To receive credit, you must attend all four Book Buddy sessions.
Please attend the mandatory orientation on Thursday, Oct. 26 at 4:15 PM.
Apply online at http://bttr.im/f0017.
Book Buddies dates: November 2nd and 16th; December 7th and 14th
