Volunteers needed to teach JA Personal Finance to high school students across Duval County. This is an ongoing opportunity throughout the school year.
We have many high schools in need of volunteers. Contact us and let us know which high school you prefer.
JA Personal Finance focuses on earning money; spending money wisely through budgeting; saving and investing money; using credit cautiously; and protecting one's personal finances.
No teaching experience is required to teach a JA program! Our staff will provide training and will give you a classroom kit complete with all program materials needed to teach the lessons, including a guidebook.
JA is the nonprofit leader in providing hands-on, innovative financial literacy, work-readiness, and entrepreneurship educational needs.

Description
Junior Achievement is the world's largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs.
Our volunteer-delivered, kindergarten-12 th grade programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire students to dream big and reach their potential.
JA's unique approach allows volunteers from the community to deliver our curriculum while sharing their experiences with students.
Through an innovative partnership between the business community, educators and volunteers, Junior Achievement helps young people connect with relevant learning and the importance of staying in school. JA students develop the skills they need to experience the realities and opportunities of work and entrepreneurship in the 21 st-century global marketplace.
