Well Baby Center is looking for a volunteer who is interested in building marketing and outreach experience. This is a unique opportunity to gain resume-building skills all the while contributing to our mission of servicing local families. This position would require the volunteer to serve at our Mar Vista office, and at local events.
Sample tasks include:
Using WBC event templates to create event flyers
Distribute flyers to local businesses
Document flyer distribution
Posting WBC events and program information on other websites Creating events on our Facebook page Updating WBC website postings Uploading media, articles, and videos into WBC website
Participate in outreach events (introducing WBC and flyering or helping with projects) Keep records of outreach events
Coordinate kids crafts
Support the kids craft events
Data entry
Work with various community members in Mar Vista including the Venice Neighborhood Council, Mar Vista Neighborhood Association, WBC experts, and local parents.
Build up your skills and experience all the while making invaluable connections! We are proud to have some amazing supporters!

Description
Well Baby Center (WBC) is a nonprofit parenting and counseling center located in Mar Vista. At Well Baby Center, we provide tools for new parents to enable happy, healthy families and communities to flourish.
Our core services include Therapy for individuals, couples, and children, and Mindful Parenting Groups - which provide opportunity to parents and their children (3 months to 2.5 years) to strengthen their relationship in a supportive group environment. Additional services include pre-school transition programs, anti-bullying groups, and parenting workshops. See the full range of services at www.wellbabycenter.org.
We are a dedicated staff working to provide clinical and non-clinical services alike so that WBC becomes a community hub. We operate with full time employees as well as several interns, and are in need of volunteer positions to join and grow our team.
