Through our Homeless Engagement Initiative , the Dallas Public Library supports those experiencing homelessness by providing meaningful services and programs. We are reaching out to our crafty community for help supporting our backpack challenge. During National Hunger Week, the library provides backpacks containing items to help during winter months. Knit, crochet, or sewn scarves are a loved item and handmade items are especially cherished. Gender neutral colors are preferred. Completed scarves may be dropped off at any Dallas Public Library location or mailed to 1515 Young Street Dallas, TX 75201 attn Heather Lowe.

We appreciate your support!
