ORGANIZATION: Making A Difference Foundation/Eloise Cooking Pot Food Bank

We are looking for volunteers to help us build the rest of Blair's Sanctuary Garden by moving mulch, dirt and planting seedlings. The volunteer events will take place on Tuesdays and Fridays and last 2-3.5 hours beginning at 9:00 am depending on the weather. We will provide the garden supplies and lunch.

We are looking to have a large group to finish building the garden so female veterans can start using this therapeutic garden and grow fresh produce for our food bank. There is a full description of the garden on our website http://themadf.org/blairs-sanctuary-garden/

Description

We are looking for volunteers at our food bank, Eloise Cooking Pot, located in East Tacoma, Washington. Help us serve over 15,000 people each month by sorting food to be given out, packaging boxes for over 600 deliveries a week, and delivering food to our homebound clients.
