Volunteer or Intern opportunities in all departments of our ministry including Network Engagement Team, Nutrition Center (Food Pantry), Medical Clinic, Dental Clinic, Pharmacy, NETworX Catawba Program, Thrift Store, Landscaping/Grounds, Special Projects. Opportunities include administrative, filing, answering telephone, filing, copying, faxing, packing grocery bags, sorting clothing and other donated items, assisting with E-Bay & Etsy postings and packaging, assisting dentist, doctors, phlebotomist, nurses, mentoring, counseling, peer support, accepting Thrift Store donations. In response to God's call, the mission of Greater Hickory Cooperative Christian Ministry is to provide hope, help and healing to those in most need through service, advocacy and community support.
Description
We are here to serve the residents of Catawba County who are in crisis. Our ministry has a Nutrition Center, Medical, Dental, Vision Clinic, Pharmacy and Thrift Store. Persons who meet certain qualifications have access to a variety of services. Our NETworX program is a faith-based initiative that engages the community to help move individuals and families out of poverty, children succeed in school and address systemic solutions to poverty.
