Interlock Media, Inc.

We are currently in production of two progressive, independent, world class documentaries and are looking for volunteers with a background in audio engineering and film soundtracks.


Schedule : Minimum of 25 hr/wk, full time (40 hr/wk) preferred

Compensation : Unpaid/Apprentice

Location : Convenient to public transportation and Kendall Square

Job Type : Volunteer; non-profit. 4-month commitment


Experience:

Applicants should have solid soundtrack design/audio engineering/composing experience, and be proficient in ProTools, Audition or other audio programs. The films will feature ethnic/world music, period music, and elaborate sound-effects reconstruction. An undergraduate or graduate degree in sound design/audio engineering or film/media is a plus.


We require excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude. Applicants should possess the ability to work independently, remain flexible, and take initiative in a resource-limited environment.

Description

Interns participate in all aspects of film and media production, including: research writing coordination of crews participation in shoots participation in film editing scriptwriting production of print materials any task that may arise

Salary: None Qualifications:

Interns must have strong communication skills, a desire to learn, and a pro-active attitude. The following skills and experience are preferred, but not required: superior writings skills technical ability computer skills (mac platform) experience with camera, lighting, or other gear.
