Calling All Volunteers!
St. Coletta's is looking for volunteers for Tootsie Roll Days held on Friday September 8th and 15th, as well as Saturday September 9th and 16th. This is 2 weekends that we will be having fun raising money for children and adults with Intellectual Disabilities at St. Coletta's. We are partnering with our great friends from Knights of Columbus to help coordinate this fundraiser.
Here is some helpful information about volunteering:
- You can choose which dates, times and locations work best for you, and our coordinators will do their best to have you close to your preference
- Locations available in Orland Park, Palos Park, Palos Heights, Beecher, New Lenox and Mokena
- Friday September 8th and Saturday September 9th days are for Orland area only
- Shifts are 2-3 hours
- Children who wish to tag are able to participate at storefronts only & must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older
- Safety vests & cans are provided by St. Coletta's
- Vehicle tagging takes place at intersections protected by traffic lights, stop signs and/or medians

St. Coletta's of Illinois, Inc. was created by the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi for the purpose of providing services for all children and adults with developmental disabilities and other persons with short-term needs. Through training, residential, and educational programs designed to enhance physical, mental, social, and spiritual well-being, St. Coletta's encourages each individual to achieve his or her greatest potential within society.
