Teacher

Teachers at the Vietnam Heritage Center’s Vietnamese School lead Vietnamese classes at all levels, helping students develop skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. They also educate students on Vietnamese culture and customs. As a teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to help others, share your knowledge, and engage with a diverse group of students and individuals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have advanced fluency in English and Vietnamese and reliable means of transportation to school on a weekly basis. Prior experience with teaching preferred but not required.

REQUIRED COMMITMENT

Must be able to teach 2 hours/week for 12 weeks in the spring or fall. Additional time will also be required to develop lesson plans for students.
