Activities Coordinator

The Activities Coordinator reports directly to the Executive Director and works to develop, plan and execute activities booths during events. This is a leadership role in charge of managing general volunteers, logistics, and communications related to event activities. It’s also a great opportunity to work with many of VHC’s volunteers and strengthen your leadership skills, as well as gain additional experience in event planning.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be proactive, creative, organized, and an excellent communicator, as this role will require coordinating between multiple groups of people with multiple timelines. Must be located in NYC and be able to work and communicate remotely via email and Google Drive. Prior experience with event planning preferred but not required.

REQUIRED COMMITMENT

Must be available 3-4 months prior to the event to plan and prepare for event activities. Must also be available on event day to manage and oversee execution of activities.
