This youth is a refugee from Ivory Coast who has been in the United States since February of 2017. He will need a French-speaking mentor because is struggling with English and thus has been unable to get a job and can’t play soccer for his school. A mentor could provide an additional support and encouragement for him at this time. The youth enjoys being physically active, but he suffers from chronic back pain and will be starting physical therapy soon. He is quieter and a bit reserved, enjoys playing soccer, and is really into his looks and clothing.
