Disability Inclusion: Making sure everybody has the same opportunities to participate in every aspect of life to the best of their abilities and desires. You can help promote disability inclusion and open the doors to new opportunities for adults with disabilities by becoming a Community Outing Volunteer at Rise.

Times are flexible!

Join a group as they access the community around them and be an extra set of eyes or helpful hands. Everyone should have the right to fully participate in community life, including dining in public restaurants, shopping, enjoying community park facilities, and going to the movies.

Description

Rise offers over 40 programs to assist people in meeting their employment and housing goals. These include vocational assessment, career planning, job training, job placement, and follow-up support services as well as outreach to people who are homeless, independent living skills training, and transitional housing. Headquartered in Spring Lake Park since 1971, Rise has 30 offices located in the Twin Cities, St. Cloud, and Western Wisconsin, and we work with hundreds of businesses in those communities.
