About
Volunteers are currently needed to assist with a variety of positions within Legacy Emanuel Medical Center. We place volunteers throughout the hospital to help support patients, staff, and visitors with non-medical needs.
A Patient and Guest Ambassador will support patients, visitors, and staff members throughout the main hospital, stationed at a volunteer information desk. They will play a central role in creating a warm and welcoming environment by greeting, giving information and directions, assisting patients by wheelchair to their destinations, escorting guests, and giving overall amazing customer service to all hospital visitors. The volunteer may also be asked to assist with non-medical related tasks as specified by staff supervisor.
