The Salvation Army of Sioux Falls is seeking volunteers to assist with packing of food bags. Each week our Social Service office distributes bags of groceries to individuals and families in our community.
Volunteers are needed to pack the bags during our regular office hours of 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. (Special arrangements can be made to accommodate after hours volunteering). Bags are distributed every afternoon from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
This could be a one time commitment to volunteer or you could help on a weekly basis. Our food pantry is open year round and must be stocked several times a week.

Description
The Salvation Army offers a variety of programs to help lower income families, seniors, homeless and children. Those programs include feeding, food pantry, rental/housing assistance, utility assistance, warming site for our homeless population during the harsh winter months and youth music, arts and character building.
