Join us this Friday, as we celebrate Celebration Garden's bounty!
The free celebratory volunteer event will include garden work, a potluck and BBQ (all are welcome to bring something to throw on the garden's grill!), a cutting flower workshop, a class on how and when to harvest, a discussion on garden design tips, kids activities and more!
The event will take place at Celebration Garden, a garden managed by Groundwork Denver, from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm.

Description
We work with residents of Denver's lower income neighborhoods to improve the physical environment. We have three main program areas:
1. Building Sustainable Communities, which includes job training and environmental leadership development.
2. Brownfields and land transformations, which includes converting underutilized properties to new parks, trails and other public amenities.
3. Denver Climate Challenge which focuses on reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
