Tutoring takes place Monday through Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at locations both in Tuskegee and Auburn. To help give specialized attention to the children volunteers will either work one on one with a child or with a couple of children assigned to them in order to help the kids complete their school work. Those who are volunteer tutors will work under someone, therefore, no preparation ahead of time is needed, just show up and help educate our youth! Volunteer opportunities also exist for programs other than tutoring, including, performing and visual arts and physcial fitness and nutrition!

The mission of IAMBK is to provide family and youth services that enable disadvantaged youth and at-risk families to become self-supportive and thrive in their homes, schools, and communities. The organization is designed to help participants develop morals and character, skills for the workforce, increase their education levels, promote physical health, and discover and nurture their talents.
Description
IAMBK provides after school programs in the areas of tutoring, performing arts (drama, voice, dance and music), visual arts (fine arts, photography, crafts), physical fitness and nutrition, social services - parenting, and work force development. These comprehensive services are offered in collaboration with other agencies, as a response to challenging encounters that disadvantaged families face each day.
