Do you enjoy spending quality time with children? The Salvation Army of Venice can use a few good volunteers to act as mentors, study pals, arts and crafts aficionados, game players, etc. for the kids in our after-school program. The children range from elementary and middle-school age (Kidz Zone) to high school students (TeenSpace).
Volunteers are needed to accompany our drivers when they pick up students at their schools (1:45-3:45 pm) and to work with the kids at The Salvation Army of Venice Community Center (2:45-6 p.m.)
Volunteers may give one day a week or month or more. We are happy to work with your schedule.

Description
The Salvation Army Venice operates two food pantries, a family store, summer camp, vacation Bible school, after-school and teen programs and more. We help local families who are having difficulty with rent and utility bills. And we provide disaster relief whenever it is needed.
