Kyrene Family Resource Center is an organization that provides services such as food boxes, hygiene bags, clothing and emergency referrals to needy families in the Kyrene School District. We also have seasonal programs such as Stuff the Bus (backpack distribution), Thanksgiving food boxes, Winter Wonderland (Christmas presents), Summer Activity Kits and many more to further assist our families. We are looking for 1-2 interns to assist with the following tasks: (1) Assemble food boxes and hygiene bags. (2) Assist clients with check in and receiving their resources. (3) Entry of client information into computer file. (4) Sorting and stocking donations in the warehouse and lobby. (5) Assisting the program coordinator with planning and running of seasonal events. Requirements:
16+ years old with an interest in social work or community outreach. Able to stand for long periods and lift boxes 20+ pound.
Able to take direction and work independently.
Good communication and computer skills are needed.
Preference towards college students pursuing degrees in related fields. Schedule: Flexible 5-10 hours a week.

The Kyrene Foundation partners with the community and caring individuals to provide services for over 350 identified homeless students and more than 5,600 students on free lunch program. We are better together, below are more opportunities to help.
