ORGANIZATION: The Arc of the Capital Area

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 2 people are interested

Our art studio gives people with disabilities an opportunity to lead more fulfilling lives by providing a place to work on creative art projects, display and sell their art, and earn commission on their work to further their independence. In addition to visual arts, our clients also work on digital media arts, music, dance, and yoga.

Volunteers in our art studio help clients with inspiration and encouragement, gathering and cleaning supplies, staying engaged and on track, socializing, and in some cases, even guiding the hand of some of our less ambulatory or more visually impaired clients.

The art studio is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 2pm.

Contact Chance Garner, Volunteer Coordinator, cgarner@arcaustin.org, with any questions or to apply.
