The purpose of the Patient Registration Ambassador is to provide supportive services to patient registration staff and patients checking in for their procedure. You are responsible for greeting patients as they come in, instructing them on the check-in process, and working closely with the volunteer in the Surgery Family Room to give correct information to families and friends. This position is often a first impression for our patients and very important!

Description
Olathe Health Ambassadors, what we like to call our volunteers, work in both clinical and non-clinical areas. Their talents are used at information desks, reception areas, patient registration, surgery family room, business offices, hospice care, and the Gift Shops - just to name a few. They also help with special projects such as Community Blood Drives and fundraising events.
At Olathe Health, our Ambassadors and staff work together to make each patient's stay as comfortable as possible.
