The HomeCare and Hospice Foundation is putting on it's first ever October Fest! The event will be held at Batavia Downs on October 21st and promises to be a fun evening for all. This event is 21 and up only and will feature food, wine and beer samplings. Also included with a ticket is $10 of free play, a sandwich or bratwurst, live entertainment, harness racing and a basket raffle! As the event draws near, we are in desperate need for volunteers to help with tasks such as: set up, tear down, registration, ID'ing and manning some of the vendor tasting tables. When you volunteer for this event you are welcome to enjoy all of the benefits that a regular ticket purchaser would- as well as knowing you are helping out with a great cause!

Mission Statement
Homecare & Hospice has offered a variety of care services for over 40 years. The mission of Homecare & Hospice is to provide support in all necessary aspects of a person’s life including medical, psychosocial and spiritual, all while in the comfort of the patients and clients’ homes.
Description
Hospice services aim to increase the quality of life for patients who are facing terminal or life-limiting illnesses, as well as to offer necessary medical, psychosocial and spiritual support. Our Hospice program is Medicare-certified and specializes in end of life care to reach the counties of Allegany, Cattaraugus, Genesee and Wyoming. The Homecare program similarly strives to allow patients to remain in their own homes while receiving support for their short-term needs or chronic conditions. Some instances include clients who need support after surgery, recovery from an illness, the frail elderly, developmentally disabled and those who are living with a long-term disability or illness.
