About AIDS Walk Detroit:

In 1991 a group of local merchants and shop keepers in Royal Oak started AIDS Walk Detroit as a 'simple request’ to raise money for individuals reeling from the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Today AIDS Walk Detroit has evolved into the largest grassroots HIV/AIDS fundraiser in the state of Michigan. Over the past 26 years AIDS Walk Detroit has raised over $3.8 million to benefit HIV/AIDS services here in Michigan.

AIDS Walk Detroit 2017:

This year AIDS Walk Detroit's annual 5k walk will take place on Sunday September 17th at the Royal Oak Farmers Market. We are looking for volunteers to assist with photography of our event. We would like to enlist several photographers so that we are able to capture team photos as well as the event as a whole.

Photographers must have own equipment and be willing to share photos. After the walk, we will provide a link to our DropBox account to obtain the photos from. You may also use the photos in anyway you like for your own website/advertising/portfolio/etc.

If you would like more information or want to register as a volunteer, visit us at www.aidswalkdetroit.org, email us at info@aidswalkdetroit.org, or call us at 248-399-WALK (9255).
