Mission Statement

Our Mission Statement: Neighbors Who Care is a nonprofit organization whose goal is to alleviate social isolation and provide companionship to older adults in the greater Waltham communities at no charge to our clients..

NWC has been pairing volunteers with older adults since 2003. Many of our clients find they have outlived family, friends and neighbors and have little support or socialization in their lives. Our compassionate volunteers become trysting friends to our clients.
As NWC does that at no charge to the clients, we are continually seeking ways to fund raise. The Neighbors Who Care Thrift Shop at 709 Main Street in Waltham is one way that NWC raises money along with grants and private donations.
