If you are needing volunteer hours for high school or college, you can get credit for helping out at this program!
Come volunteer at our "Troops" program every Wednesday from 5-7PM!! This program is similar to Boys Scouts/Girl Scouts but includes a spiritual focus as well.
Ways in which you can help:
1) Cook a meal once a month to be served between 6:30 and 7 pm for 50 people
2) Help pick up and take home children for the program (Pick up from 4:15 to 5 pm and take home from 7 pm to 7:45) to drive for The Salvation Army you will need to take an online drivers test and acquire a copy of your DMV drivers record.
3) Teach a class or assist one (Choose between ages 3-5; classes for boys/girls 1st - 4th grades; classes for boys/girls 5th - 8th grades)
To volunteer with children, The Salvation Army requires a volunteer packet to be filled out as well as a background check.
Please email me if you are interested and we can get the process started.
