Come cheer on athletes as they run either a 1/2 marathon or 5k run. There's also a child's fun run (FitKid Shuffle).
This is a BIG event, with hundreds of athletes and where hundreds of volunteers are needed, to run a safe and smooth event.
There are lots of volunteer areas to choose from, but most are about giving directions and cheering athletes on, either at water stations, registration, or finish line area.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to teach children the love of swimming. We want all kids to be water safe, by learning how to swim. For those that fall in love with it, we want them to be able to participate on the swim team. No child is every turned away due to financial difficulties.
Description
The J-Hawk Aquatic Club is a Not-For-Profit, 501c(3) youth organization that helps teach children how to swim and helps guide children to compete, learn self-motiviation, goal setting, and accountability, all while having fun, through our youth swim team.
Children from all backgrounds and abilities participate.
