Hello! We are Plymouth Healing Communities (PHC), a small but mighty supportive housing nonprofit in Seattle. We provide low barrier transitional and permanent housing to formerly homeless individuals living with mental illness. We work to dispel stigma related to homelessness and mental health while providing nonlinear support to our tenants with community-based programs.

We have transitioned to using Salesforce for our volunteer database and could use some help from Salesforce aficionado to get it customized for our programs and fully integrated into our website. We want to make it easy for volunteers to use it through out website to log hours, sign up for volunteer shifts (see our calendar), and ideally have a way for volunteers to check their hours log and general progress! We also want to make it easy to search for specific volunteers based on their volunteer job, so we could use some help setting up the Campaigns and jobs.

We have a member of our staff working on learning how to use Salesforce and would gladly set up times to talk over the phone to gather advice and guidance from a Salesforce expert! Please contact us if you are interested in helping support our programs with your expertise!

Mission Statement

Plymouth Healing Communities works to break the cycle of hospitalization for mental health and homelessness by providing supportive small-scale transitional and permanent housing in Seattle.

Description

We have a transitional home (house of healing) where people recently released from inpatient care can land for a safe and nonlinear support structure. We also have 6 other small permanent housing located throughout Seattle to give people access to all the benefits of living in areas such as Ballard and Beacon Hill. We rely heavily on our Companions, our main nonlinear, supportive program for residents, to provide the key ingredients in restoring a sense of belonging for residents in all of our housing!
