Jurassic Plant Open House
They're Coming! Because you're using their water.

The Goleta Sanitary District will be hosting our Jurassic Plant Tour Open House on Saturday, October 12, 2019 and they need volunteers to help with parking, welcoming guests, and other duties. This educational family free event would be a fun and rewarding way for you to get some community service hours! Volunteers are asked to attend a one hour training session prior to the event (tentatively planned for Oct. 9 at 5:30.

Shifts positions and hours vary and include attraction assistance,manning the food booth, check in, and more.

Volunteers will receive lunch and a complimentary souvenir T-shirt.

We treat the water the greater Goleta Valley uses and produce clean, recycled water and biosolids. Our focus is on environmental stewardship, energy self sufficiency, community collaboration, and excellence in governance. We serve over 80,000 folks in the community, including UC Santa Barbara, the Santa Barbara Municipal Airport, parts of the County of Santa Barbara, and the city of Goleta.
