Substitute Early Childhood Education Teachers for Head Start classrooms serving at-risk, low-income children. Must have CDA or Degree and pass Level 2 Background Check. EOC will pay for the background check. You will be 1 of 2 teachers in a classroom of 20 children. This is an on-call position as needed.

Description
Economic Opportunities Council is the local community action agency. We work to assist low-income people become self-sufficient and achieve their full potential. We administer the Head Start Early Childhood Education Program in Indian River and Okeechobee Counties. Head Start, a FREE early childhood development program for 3 and 4-year old, at-risk children and their families who live in poverty. Just under 400 students and families are enrolled for the 17-18 school year. We also administer the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program in Indian River and Okeechobee Counties, the Weatherization Program in Indian River, Okeechobee, Martin and St. Lucie Counties. We administer the REACH Family Self-Sufficiency Program in Indian River County.
