Transportation Volunteer for Single Moms Support Group

The Single Moms Support Group is a wonderful opportunity for local women to get connected to a group of fellow moms and enjoy time talking together, doing a craft, and eating a hot meal. This group meets on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. during the school year.

Several of the women who attend this group do not have any kind of transportation and cannot afford to take the bus here. Transportation volunteers would be available to pick the women and their children up in the morning, drop them off, and then return in the afternoon to take them home. Picking clients up in the morning would happen from approximately 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and dropping them off in the afternoon would take from approximately 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Transportation volunteers can do this on both Tuesdays AND Fridays, one day per week, or every other week. Volunteers must have reliable transportation.
