Volunteer for inventory management and for facility maintenance for both Soup Kitchen and Pantry. Specifically these staff persons will be responsible for (1) receiving, counting and recording stock inventory for pantry, refrigerators and freezers. (2) determining proper storage methods, identifications, and stock locations based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of our facility, (3) cleaning and maintaining supplies, tools and equipment in our storage and work areas and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, (4) examining and inspecting stock intems or wear or defects and reporting any damage to supervisors, (5) gathering all discarded boxes and garbage to be taken to designated area for disposal, and (6) setting up and breaking down 15 tables to be utlilized for Client Choose set-up and folding chairs.
