- Unified partners who play beside our athletes doing 9 hole alternate shots. You need to have some golf experience, willing to play with an athlete one-on-one, and able to drive a golf cart. To be a unified partner, you will be asked to complete a unified partner form and a short 15 minute online Protective Behaviors Training.

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round athletic training and sports competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families and other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
