Help share at-risk youth’s culinary transformations through your photos!

Sprouts is currently recruiting for a volunteer photographer to dedicate their time and skills to capturing our chef-in-training interns changing their lives around in restaurant kitchens throughout the Bay Area! For five years, Sprouts chef-in-training program has helped at-risk youth jumpstart their culinary careers! The program is expanding fast and we want to inspire the community to follow along with the youth’s stories through your photos! We are looking to recruit a photographer to volunteer up to 6 hours a month for 6 months- with maximum one 30 minute photo shoot per week. The intern’s stories are incredibly inspiring and we would be so grateful for your help! All of your work will be credited. As an added bonus, you'll also be getting the exciting opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at some of the top restaurants in the Bay Area!

You must provide your own camera, equipment, and editing software!

Dates: 6 month commitment - about 6 hours/month

Times: Usually evenings, One 30 minute session per week plus travel and editing time

Details: Photo shoots will be conducted during the intern’s restaurant shift (intern’s work 2-3 days a week) allowing for flexibility in your schedule. You will be traveling to the restaurant for the photo shoot. We partner with restaurants in Oakland, SF, Berkeley, Hayward, and San Leandro.
