Use your card-making, scrapbooking and paper-crafting talent and skills to create items for patients and families:

  • Make cards for patient birthdays and sympathy and remembrance cards for bereaved family members.
  • Transform a composition book into "Grief Journey" journal for our family members.
  • Create items to celebrate seasons and holidays.
You volunteer from home. You can drop off your items at our Cuyahoga Falls hospice office or we can pick up from your home or you can mail to us. Some of the materials to create these items are provided by the hospice. This can be a one-time "Done in a Day" project or on-going commitment.

Description

Gardens Hospice is a locally and privately owned and operated service provider based out of Cuyahoga Falls. We provide care to patients living in private residences, assisted living and nursing home facilities in 6 counties: Cuyahoga, Geauga, Medina, Portage, Stark and Summit Counties.

Our hospice services are designed to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and families who are facing life-limiting illness. We help patients and families navigate through the end of life, while bringing peace, comfort and dignity. Our focus is on quality of living, while accepting the reality of death as a part of life.
