Gardens of Western Reserve Hospice provides support to grieving loved ones for 13 months following the death. Volunteers are needed to:
- Make follow up phone calls and/or visits to provide a listening ear, offer support, share grief resources and refer back to the Bereavement Coordinator when necessary.
- Assist at Memorial Services by helping with set up/clean up, registration or take an active part in the service. Memorial Services are offered once a year.

Description
Gardens Hospice is a locally and privately owned and operated service provider based out of Cuyahoga Falls. We provide care to patients living in private residences, assisted living and nursing home facilities in 6 counties: Cuyahoga, Geauga, Medina, Portage, Stark and Summit Counties.
Our hospice services are designed to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and families who are facing life-limiting illness. We help patients and families navigate through the end of life, while bringing peace, comfort and dignity. Our focus is on quality of living, while accepting the reality of death as a part of life.
