We are looking for a well-rounded Graphic Design volunteer for the national ChickTech Marketing Committee. This opportunity will bring the ChickTech brand to life-translating current graphic standards to existing materials such as digital media, advertising, social media promotions, signage, etc.
Our ideal graphic design volunteer will have some or all of the below:
- Experience in developing printed materials, web design and social media;
- ... including developing of original and computer-generated design elements (Bonus)
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and additional relevant computer hardware and software;
- Knowledge of quick/easy design tools like Canva, PicMonkey, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal, communications (writing and speaking) and organizational skills;
Key responsibilities include:
- Design Social Media Graphics, ADs, etc.
- Design Web and Email Banners
- Design program and event look/feel branding etc.
- Create city logos for new chapters
- Edit Current Design Material to keep fresh and updated ( Brochures, etc.)
- The main objectives:
- Help Design the Needed Material for ChickTech marketing and branding
- Attend ChickTech marketing committee meetings
Time Commitment: 5 to 10 hours per week
Great for college students, and are open to creating an official internship opportunity for committed individuals.

ChickTech is a multi-generational community helping each other become technology creators. We facilitate hands-on technology-centric events and mentorship to empower, support, and increase the confidence of girls, women, and non-binary folks. Through our programs, we build community, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in the rapidly growing tech industry.
As a mostly volunteer-run non-profit, we are always searching for partners who would like to get involved through donations of expertise, volunteer time, in-kind, funding, or just by helping to get the word out.
