We are looking for a PPC Google Adwords volunteer for the national ChickTech Marketing Committee. This opportunity would assist the organization with ongoing PPC management tasks.

Our ideal PPC volunteer will have some or all of the below:

  • Adwords experience
  • Google analytics experience
  • Excel/Google Spreadsheet ninja
  • Google Adwords Certified (Bonus!)
  • Working knowledge of Adwords scripts (Bonus!)
  • Google Adwords for Nonprofits Experience (Bonus!)

Key responsibilities include:

  • Regular account management of pay per click accounts in Adwords
  • Perform research and execution for new campaigns, such as testing new keyword strategies or optimizing existing campaign structure
  • Writing ad copy for A/B testing and improving messaging
  • Assist in the monitoring of keyword bids, budget targets, quality score, and various crucial account metrics

  • The main objectives:
  1. Increase web traffic to ChickTech and ACT-W (Advancing the Careers of Technical Women)
  2. Increase brand exposure ( Making sure that it's easy to find us!)
  3. Attend ChickTech marketing committee meetings
  4. Oversee all things Google Adwords related

Time Commitment: 5 to 10 hours per week


Great for college students (with a PPC background), and are open to creating an official internship opportunity for committed individuals.

Through our programs, we build community, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in the rapidly growing tech industry.

As a mostly volunteer-run non-profit, we are always searching for partners who would like to get involved through donations of expertise, volunteer time, in-kind, funding, or just by helping to get the word out.
