ORGANIZATION: PCOS Challenge: The National Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Association

PCOS Challenge is holding its annual PCOS Awareness Symposium to help women and girls affected by Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) become more proactive about their health and discover strategies and resources to overcome their symptoms and reduce their risk for life-threatening related diseases such as cancer, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

The organization is seeking 15 volunteers to help with event registration, time keeping and to act as greeters and floor managers.

Duties include:

  • Directing participants to the registration area
  • Checking in attendees
  • Handing out badges and goody bags
  • Directing participants to the main auditorium or overflow rooms to view the morning sessions.
  • Directing participants to the breakout session rooms.
Light breakfast, lunch are refreshments are provided for volunteers.

Serving 60,000 members, PCOS Challenge: The National Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Association is the leading 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization globally that is advancing the cause for women and girls with PCOS. We touch the lives of women with PCOS and their supporters each year through multimedia programming, support groups, health screenings, grants, and education and awareness initiatives. Since our programs began in 2009, we've helped many women overcome their struggles with infertility, weight gain, anxiety and depression and reduce their risk for life-threatening related conditions.
