Mission Statement

To provide specially selected and trained community volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in the pursuit of safe and permanent homes.

Description

Volunteer your time and change a child’s life.
Nobody longs for a safe and loving family more than a child in foster care. As a CASA volunteer, you can help make this dream a reality. After completing 30 hours of training, you will be matched with a child right here in Sauk County. By committing to 10 hours a month, you will not only make a significant impact in the life of a child, but you will impact their family for generations to come. In doing so, you will enrich your life, as well.

CASA Volunteers listen first. Then they act.
Volunteers get to know the child by talking with everyone in that child's life. They use the information they gather to ensure the child’s needs are recognized and best interests are considered, both in the courtroom and in the community. With a CASA volunteer, a child is less likely to stay in the foster care and child welfare system and more likely to find a safe, permanent home.
