The NASCAR Foundation will host its Speediatrics Fun Day Festival on Saturday, September 9 from 11am-1pm at Pine Camp Arts and Community Center. The event is free and promotes healthy living and physical fitness, and will feature fun activities for kids, giveaways, healthy snacks and special guests! We are looking for volunteers to assist in the production of the event, such as leading different activities. If interested in volunteering please email Speediatrics@nascar.com by September 1.

Description

The NASCAR Foundation is a 501c(3) national charity that impacts children’s lives through the Speediatrics Children’s Fund and the Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award. Our Speediatrics Children's Fund supports needs expressed by hospitals, specialty clinics, camps and other organizations providing children's medical and health care services. Since its inception, more than 500,000 children in need have been served.

The NASCAR Foundation’s Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award Presented by Nationwide honors a dedicated NASCAR fan who has positively impacted the lives of children through volunteerism. Over the past six years, The NASCAR Foundation has awarded $1,050,000 to the charities in honor of twenty-four remarkable finalists, with more than 200,000 children being helped through their combined efforts.
