Are you always ready with a smile? Do you love meeting new and interesting people? Do you want to work in a beautiful, lively environment and support a group of creative people? Then this might be the place for you!
Ashland Art Center seeks volunteers to staff the front counter. Duties include greeting visitors to the center, answering questions, showing visitors around the gallery or to their class location, making sales using our computer-based cash register, opening/closing the gallery depending on the hours worked.
Shifts needed are as follows:
Monday 10-2
Monday 2-6
Wednesday 10-2
Sunday 10-2
Friday 10-2
Training is provided. If you're interested in promoting the local visual arts community and helping to provide access to art education for young and old alike, please contact us! We'd love to hear from you.

The Mission of the Ashland Arts Center is to serve as a vital resource for art experience and education, while offering economic and social support to the visual arts community.
Description
Ashland Art Center serves the local visual arts community through art education for all ages, access to low-cost studio and creative space, multiple channels for local artists to show and sell their work, and special events. We feature clay and print studios, painting and drawing, jewelry, glass art, woodworking, fiber and wearable art, photography, and so much more! We serve more than 200 local artists. In addition, we house a branch of Central Art Supply as well as the tasting room of Platt-Anderson Cellars, the only urban winery in Jackson County.
