The Franklin High School Tutoring Program is an after-school academic program for all Franklin High School students, administered through the Impact NW SUN Community School. We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers and work-study students who are willing to participate in a one-on-one and small group tutoring environments. The Tutoring program offers academic help in any and all subjects including biology, earth science, geometry, AP math courses, English, Social studies and World Languages such as Spanish, Russian, Chinese and French.
We welcome tutors from every academic discipline, but tutors should be at least able to worth with students on basic math, science and English skills. The Tutoring Center also works with many ELL (English Language Learning), minority, refugee, differently-abled and low income students so tutors must be adaptable and flexible in their teaching styles.
