Helping Empower Youth is seeking highly motivated, organized, creative, energetic, and strategic thinkers to facilitate various STEM/STEAM related after school programming Additionally, the ideal volunteers will commit to working with us for at least 8 weeks as a minimum.
The After School Leader will cultivate an environment for creative and innovative play amongst elementary students. The position reports directly to the Executive Director and works closely with the Program Assistant, Volunteer Director and other members of the Helping Empower Youth staff as well as the board of directors.
Must have availability between Monday - Thursdays 2:00pm -6:30pm. It is not necessary to be available every day from 2:00 - 6:30 pm, but ideal volunteer should be able to commit to a minimum of 1 of those days.
Activities include bikes, go karts, coding, mechanical engineering, "kitchen experiments", etc. STEM experience is not necessary.
