The group may include guest speakers for the first half; with the second sharing experiences and exchanging information, resources and ideas. The families you will meet can relate to the challenges and experiences you may be going through. You can lean on them, learn from them, and call them when you need to talk.

This is a once a month volunteer position. The second Sunday afternoon of the month. For the months of July and August while our current facilitator is unavailable.

July 8th and August 12th

Expectations include planning topics and guest speakers, tracking attendee’s, and communicating with MDA office with any needs or requests of families in attendance. You will be required to pass a background check and have some experience.

Please contact the office as soon as possible if interested in being a Support Group Facilitator.
