Great Lakes Caring is seeking teen volunteers to provide companionship visits to our patients in local nursing facilities. These visits can consist of taking patients to a facility activity (Bingo, Crafts, Special Events), painting nails, playing an instrument, taking patients outside on nice days, capturing their life story, or simply providing 1:1 conversation. Volunteering is flexible ( after school or weekends), we work around your schedule!
Other volunteer opportunities include volunteering in our Adrian Branch Office or assisting the Volunteer Coordinator with events.
This is a great way to make a difference and can help with resume building, college portfolios and gain new friendships.
