EcoWorks receives donations from community members, many of which need to be sorted prior to being placed on the sales floor. Donations of colored wire sometimes require unwinding to separate wires into manageable bundles for purchase. These bundles can be made up of the same color wire, or fun mixes of assorted colors. Wire bundles are then set out on the sales floor, where they are a very popular commodity for crafting! Additionally, our fabric cubbies receive plenty of attention from customers, and thus it is wonderful to spend some time organizing the fabric such as by re-rolling it into eye-catching assortments grouped by color, pattern, or texture. Once the cubbies are rearranged, we can assess what fabrics to pull from storage to replenish the cubbies.

Description
Creative Reuse Center; we sell low-cost art supplies to support teachers, artists and other creative people. Materials are industrial scrap and business surplus in addition to donations from individuals. 2. reBoutique gift shop; consign with Connecticut based artists who use reclaimed materials in their work. 3. reCraft; we provide workshops and classes as well as a DIY maker-space Crafteria). We also offer workshops on how to use the scrap and environmental classes. We also house a reBoutique gift shop that showcases upcycled and repurposed goods made by CT artisans.
News Flash: We have moved to 89 State Street, North Haven. Just want to let you know that there are no buses that run to out new store. We''ve packed everything up at the store and most of our materials are now in the new store. Our challenge is going to be unpacking and setting up our new store. We're not quite ready for new volunteers at this time. However, by mid August we will be thrilled to have lots more hands! If you're interested you can still send us an email.
