We provide free food, clothing and hygiene items for families and individuals in need. Assistance needed in sorting clothing, food items and laundry. Donations always accepted, call for details.
This is an ongoing project, volunteers needed Monday through Friday 11:00a.m.-4:30p.m. and 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Saturday of each month. Flexible schedules are available.
Troop can do CANNED FOOD DRIVES, too!
We envision a community where everyone has access to sufficient nutritious food, basic hygiene products and clothing. Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas serves individuals and families of the San Antonio area who are in need of items to get them through 24-48 hour emergencies.

Description
Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas is a dynamic and contemporary organization which prepares girls to seek and meet the challenges for our ever changing society. Through our program, girls ages 5-17, learn to have fun, gain self-esteem, and contribute to their communities. Support for our organization is provided by trained volunteers and skilled staff. The volunteer structure is innovative and emphasizes adult education and training.
