Global Green is seeking help from a novice or professional graphic designer to create materials to help promote an upcoming 'eco-ambassador' event in Lafayette, CA.

Here's more detail:

Have you ever wanted to give back to your community and help divert valuable resources away from landfill? Have you wanted to improve the waste systems in your apartment and help educate others on what goes into each bin? Global Green, a national environmental nonprofit, is hosting a training workshop for residents of Lafayette who want to make a different in their apartment buildings by improving their waste systems.

These residents, or "Eco-Ambassadors," will receive a training on what is and is not recyclable or compostable and will be given resources such as posters, brochures, and kitchen compost pails. Future Eco-Ambassador projects can include going door-to-door at your apartment building, checking trash, recycling and compost bins for obvious contamination, and suggesting waste systems improvements to property management.

This event is FREE and open to the public. Food will be provided. Space is limited so RSVP's are required.

Thursday, August 31 from 6-7:30 pm

50 Lafayette Cir, Lafayette, CA

To RSVP, please email corr@globalgreen.org
