At Habitat for Humanity of Weber and Davis Counties, we are looking to start up a youth program called Humanity Kids. Starting in September, we are doing a coloring and drawing contest, going to schools to present who we are. This is our start-up project. However, we are looking to expand and get a strong youth program together. We are hoping you will join us with new and fresh ideas. This is a perfect volunteer opportunity for those who would like to start something new, work with kids, and still follow our value and beliefs in "creating a world where everyone has a decent place to live."

Description
Habitat for Humanity of Weber and Davis Counties helps local low-income families to build or renovate, and then buy their own safe, decent, affordable homes. Habitat is not a giveaway program. Our partner families contribute hundreds of hours of "sweat equity" to help build their own and other's homes. When construction is completed, families buy their homes at a no-profit price, with a no-interest loan, and affordable monthly payments.
