Avon 39 is a 39.3 mile walk over the course of two days that takes place in 7 locations around the country. All proceeds from the event are donated to researching, preventing, and ultimately ending breast cancer. We have numerous volunteer shifts for the New York Avon 39 October 13th - 15th.

October 13th-Check In Friday

Join us on Friday, September 9th at the Hilton Midtown. Assist us in kicking off the AVON 39 weekend at Check-In Friday from 1:15pm to 7:30pm or 3:30pm-8:00pm. Get our 39ers checked in and prepared to start their journey!

October 14th- Opening Ceremony and Basecamp 39.

Help in seeing our walkers off as they begin their 39.3 mile journey at Opening Ceremony on Saturday, October 14th from 4:15am to 8:00 am at Pier 97.

Join us at Basecamp 39 as we greet the walkers at the half way mark on Saturday October 14th at Randall's Island. There are numerous shifts available such as Basecamp Hospitality Shift A and B from 2:15pm-5:00pm and/or 4:30pm-8:30pm, which helps with tasks such as cheering the walkers in and distributing alumni pins to past walkers. We also have Tent Angel Shift A and B from 2:15pm-5:00pm and/or 4:30pm-7:30pm.

October 15th-Closing Ceremony

We are also looking for volunteer help on Sunday, October 15th at Closing Ceremony. Join us at the Pier 97 from 8:00am to 12:30pm or 12:00pm to 4:30pm and help us close out the AVON 39 Santa Barbara with a bang!
